Showing Garmin dog trackers in Easyhunt

  1. Does my Garmin device support this? See list of supported models
  2. Make sure the collar is shown in the DogTrack glance on your watch
    • Sometimes glance is not visible by default and needs to be added
    • Make sure the handheld dog tracking device is added as DogTrack sensor
    • Find more details in the user guide at: https://support.garmin.com
  3. Activate tracks sharing to Easyhunt. You do this in the DogTrack glance menu: Settings > Easyhunt
  4. Make sure the watch has internet connection. This can be done by:
    • Pairing the watch to your smartphone using the Garmin Connect mobile app or the Garmin Explore app, apps then need to be started to be able to share connection

  5. Register the Unit ID of your handheld device in the Easyhunt app:
    • either in the map view menu in the Easyhunt app: Dog trackers
    • or on Easyhunt web: Profile > Dog trackers
    • Unit ID for Garmin handhelds can be found on your handheld device in the menu: Setup > About

Any active collar in the registered handheld will be added automatically the first time it is online and will be ready to use directly in the app.
